We are also offering a Valentines Bake @ Home kit which can be ordered over the phone by Thursday 11th February at 8pm. We have 23 beautifully finished guest rooms waiting to welcome you, all with fully equipped en-suite, flat screen TVs, internet access and space to work. All rooms are air conditioned and include complimentary tea and coffee.

read moreThe Lion, in one guise or another, has been providing food and shelter to weary travellers for hundreds of years and we are proud to be continuing this amazing tradition. The old inn was fully refurbished and extended in 2008, including the addition of 15 guest rooms, in a comfy, eclectic style retaining the original building with its low ceiling, beams and now decorative fireplace, fondly referred to as 'the old pub'. At the beginning of 2015, we were delighted to introduce our latest addition - The Lion House.

Beautifully topped with dark granite and adorned by tall chrome taps the bar is a welcoming space to enjoy a tipple or two - dispensing a good selection of real ales (largely from local award winning breweries), craft lager, premium spirits and great quality wine on draught.
