The Limes is passionate about delivering an environment where disabled and non-disabled kids can play and work together, where no one is excluded, where difference is valued and everyone can participate to their highest potential. The Limes Community and Children's Centre is an inclusive project at the middle of the community that was set up to understand the need for a play and recreational centre in the London Borough of Waltham Forest that is accessible to disabled and non-disabled kids and young people.

Volunteering at The Limes
read moreOur team is as diverse as our local community and if you have the skills and the time, please come and help us. You can bring a whole bunch of volunteers and help with a one off job, or dedicate some time regularly to help keep us going - it's up to you. Our building and outside spaces always need a touch of maintenance - it could be filling holes, adjusting play equipment or even putting up shelves. We are always seeking funds to run our projects, and our busy Director needs help to research organisations that can give us money.
