Find out everything you need to know below about eligibility, competing and entering a Scruffts heat. No dog present in the Scruffts competition should ever have been subject to a Court Control Order or a Contingent Destruction Order under the Dogs Act 1871 or the 1991 Dangerous Dogs Act.

They're held in the ring dedicated to obedience, located in hall 5 of the NEC, which holds over 1,000 spectators and is often filled to capacity. If you are a visitor going to watch obedience for the first time, you may want to look at our new to obedience pages, which explain the tests, marking, rules and the different levels of competition for obedience. It is with great disappointment that The Kennel Club must announce that, due to the lack of opportunity to qualify, the Obedience competition will be unable to take place at Crufts 2021.

It's lots of fun and no matter what level you and your dog are at, it's easy to get involved and start training and competing. Rally involves you and your dog working as a team to navigate a course with numbered signs indicating different exercises to perform. Think of it as a sort of 'obedience exercise obstacle course' including simple exercises. Each team manager is appointed for a 3-year period and must fulfil the following criteria.
