The Japan Centre Food
Grocery Store in London
The Japan Centre Group was set up in the United Kingdom in 1976 by a young Japanese man who wanted to read a Japanese book, but couldn't find one anywhere. With the 1st official shop opening in Soho's Brewer Street in 1980, Japan Centre has led the way for the huge range of Japanese stores and restaurants in London today. At its present day location in Central London at Piccadilly Circus, Japan Centre supplies integral service and support for Japanese residents, students, and visitors in London, and to non-Japanese people with an interest in Japan.
