The Guild was founded in 1991 by Nicky Stevenson and Sally Kelly and has earned a national reputation as a leading support organisation within the voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors. Since then, The Guild has evolved into a dynamic team of full time team and associates. The Guild supplies hands-on support for organisations that are starting up or developing, while undertaking research and consultancy work with significant policy implications. The Guild is unique because we currently have a real understanding of the day-to-day issues experienced in the voluntary and community sector associated with a deep experience of the policy framework in which they operate.

read moreKeith has a background in supervisory management, team leading and training and has an ILM Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring in Management. He is also a Gold Standard SFEDI accredited Social Enterprise Business Adviser and a founding Director of The Guild. He has written and delivered a number of The Guild's courses including trustee training, committee members training, legal structures training and training in social enterprise management. Sally co-founded a business partnership in 1991 and in 2011 established The Guild Social Economy Services CIC of which she is one of four Directors.
