read moreWe always prefer to meet couples wherever possible so that we can get a good feeling for what they want, their expectations of the day and personalty, that way we can be confident in what we deliver on the day is exactly what they have dreamed about. However, in the real world this is not always possible especially if couples live abroad or have super busy work schedules. Thankfully we are also pretty good at putting together mood boards or discussing options via email, video links or emails. This wedding all took place for us via a lovely wedding stylist called Kimberley from The Wedding Avenue.

read moreGrace came to me with a very clear vision of what she wanted, pale blues and whites with soft olive greens throughout, simple flowers, not over done and a pretty aisle of flowers to waft through. Aisle runners are a thing right now and if you can stretch to it they make a change to the chair end flowers. Bigger, floaty and definitely makes a statement. What I love too is that the floor standing arrangements can also be easily lifted and used elsewhere after the ceremony, more bang for your buck so to speak!

read moreWhat a gorgeous wedding this was back in May, full of soft colours, rambling designs and luscious flowers and foliage. The gazebo at Nettlestead Place looks beautiful when lightly decorated with soft foliage and provides a perfect frame for our Bride and Groom, Rosie and Miles. Rosie's beautiful bridesmaids were all in soft pink so we used this as inspiration for the flower palette but Rosie loved a little bit of colour so we added touches of other pastel tones throughout the venue. The marquee at Nettlestead looked sensational with our hanging flowers made on wooden planks custom made with tumbling greenery, roses, spray roses, peonies, jasmine, asparagus and trailing eucalyptus and amaranthus.

read moreWe were so thrilled to have the chance to do this beautiful wedding not least because it was set in the most spectactular private gardens in Kent. On a sunny day nothing could have been more perfect. As well as providing bouquets and buttonholes this job included filling the aisle with wild non structured flowers and decorate a wooden arch that had been specially made for the ceremony. I am not sure what we would have done had the day been wet, this could have all turned out so differently, but luckily for everyone it was a perfect summers day.

read moreHever Castle is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places to visit in Kent and even more fabulous if you are lucky enough to have this as a wedding venue. Holly and Billy were such a couple who chose this for their very special day. It is so beautiful, it can't really be improved on so we always try to work with this amazing architecture to enhance and dress not improve. Holly chose a simple classic pallet of green and white, we lead with roses, hydrangea and spray roses everywhere with touches of other summer flowers here and there.

read moreWhen Phillip and Darren came to me they aleady knew that they wanted to go with the season and concentrate their decorations more on the rich textures, leaves, twigs etc than flowers. They used their two relatives names Ivy and Rose as their starting point and we made sure we included both into all the decorations. There were no wedding bouquets or bridesmaids of course so we really focussed on the table decorations and floral chandeliers in the marquee at Nettlestead Place, Kent. This wedding venue is on my doorstep and I love seeing how it can be tansformed in so many different ways.
