The Cathedral Hotel

The Cathedral Hotel of four storeys with brick walls and tiled roofs mainly of the nineteenth Century and later, but incorporates nucleus dating from the 2nd half of the eighteenth Century. The front five middle bays of the three lower storeys are original. The oak staircase is original and several ground-floor rooms have original wooden dados with fielded panels. The two 1st-floor rooms are lined with fielded panelling in two heights, with moulded skirting, dado-rails and cornices. In March 2009 it was fully refurbished.

Sundays and throughout the week, we offer a quiet, relaxed environment. At the weekend, the busy venue bar on the ground floor is open until 2 am and is part of the Salisbury bar circuit. Some Thursdays may also be busy, depending what events are on in the city. As with most of Salisbury's hotels, parking is available outside the hotel for check in and dropping off only. Parking is available two minutes from the hotel in the Brown street pay and display car park or in Culver street for longer stay parking.
