read moreA dental implant is a titanium metal rod, which is placed in your jawbone. It is used to support a permanent ceramic crown which looks and functions like a completely natural tooth. Implants need to integrate with the bone after they have been put in which may take approximately 4-6 months. In the meantime you may have to wear a temporary restoration. At this practice we use Branemark and Replace implants by Nobel Biocare who have been the market leaders in manufacturing dental implants for over 50 years.

read moreAt Capel Dental we carry out all routine dental treatments, including white fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, root canal treatment and wisdom teeth extraction, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We understand patient anxieties, and are happy to treat nervous patients. We also have a special interest in cosmetic dentistry. At each routine dental examination you will receive a thorough oral health assessment. We use the most up to date techniques and materials available, and this may involve using low dose radiography and an intra-oral camera.

Please note you do not need to be dentally fit to join our scheme, as each plan can be tailored to suit your individual treatment needs. Patients can pay for treatment on a fee per item basis, based on our private fee scale, a copy of which can be emailed on request via the details on the contact page. We accept payment by cash, cheque and most credit/debit cards. You will normally be expected to pay for treatments carried out at each visit, unless you are told otherwise.
