Growing an Existing Travel Business
read moreYou may have been running your travel business for a number of years, perhaps as an agent or sub-agent without having your own ATOL and feel that the time is right to obtain your own ATOL. Alternatively, especially with the recent introduction of the new IATA Go-Lite category of accreditation, you would like to obtain your own accreditation whilst not needing to provide a bond nor having a minimum paid-up share capital requirement. Or, you may want the increased ability of trading with agents or principals that ABTA membership can offer or feel that the ABTA membership will be a significant marketing advantage.
Starting a New Travel Business
read moreYou are probably unsure if you need your own ATOL licence and whether obtaining your own IATA accreditation or ABTA membership would be advantageous. The answers will depend on the types of business you will be undertaking, including whether you will be acting as the organiser or as a retail agent. We can clearly outline the cost, financial, bonding and other requirements for ATOL, IATA and ABTA highlighting your priorities if resources are limited. Having decided to apply for your own ATOL, IATA or ABTA can seem daunting.
