The documented history of Stubbers goes back to 1334, the date on the title deeds of the land. The estate was named after William Stubbers, a yeoman farmer who lived there from 1438 to1463. The land was eventually bought by Cathemayde, a wealthy merchant. During his time stocktaking showed that the property of Stubbers exytended for 65 acres which included a mansion house only a little smaller than the one that existed at Stubbers until about 50 years ago.

Due to the large amount building works and exciting new adventures in progress at Stubbers Adventure Centre, we have made the decision to remain closed. We plan to reopen as of Monday 1st March 2021.
