Aftercare
read moreIt is best to take showers rather than baths for the first few days after having your tattoo. The healing tattoo will be itchy and flaky; the flaky skin will be similar to the way a sunburn will peel but with a bit of colour in it. Do not pick or scratch your tattoo. Do not go swimming, expose to sunlight or tanning beds for at least two weeks. If you think you have a problem or any questions you would like to ask feel free to get in contact with us. A normal piercing may be tender, itchy, slightly red or bruised for a few weeks; they may bleed a little for the first few days; they may secrete a whitish-yellow fluid (plasma) which crusts on the jewellery, this is not pus; skin around the jewellery may tighten as it heals making movement somewhat difficult; this is all normal for a new piercing.
