Taebaek School of Taekwondo & Black Belt Academy has been created for over twenty years and provides martial arts, fitness and education programmes for all ages from 4 years-70 years. The school owners are wife and husband staff Masters Alan and Caroline Platt (fifth and fourth Dan respectively) and Gary Mallam (third Dan) Between them they have over forty years knowledge of the Martial Arts. The centre has a further full and part time instructors, all of whom are black belts.

read moreTBK had the honour of welcoming Master Mario Hundertajlo 7th Dan on the 7th Novemeber 2013. During his visit to the UK, Master Hundertajlo popped in to the school, which he originally founded with his wife Master Paula Hundertajlo 4th Dan. After spending 6 Years in Canada he couldn't resist visiting us and decided it was time to put our students through their paces! A fantastic training session was had by all, Master Hundertajlo enjoyed 'throwing' the students around in his self defence demonstrations.

I had a choice - I could sit, drinking coffee, watching my daughter train or I could join in!
