read moreThe new lockdown has sadly put a hold on our return to training; many of our lives have massively changed over night - you might be really feeling the pressure of lockdown 3. Over the past few weeks however there has been a renewed sense of togetherness and we want to bring all our club members back together, and it includes you. We were in the routine of seeing so you regularly, and we can't wait to see you online. We have an excellent plan for the next 5 weeks of the lockdown which involves live lessons, getting you involved and helping you to go over some of the content that we would have been doing in lessons.

read moreSince by nature we all learn by trial and error, many things will be forgiven in a dojo, but bad behaviour is definitely not one of them. This rule applies to every student within the dojo society regardless of their rank, in fact the higher the rank, the less tolerance there is for any breach of etiquette what so ever. Starting with the "sensei" or "teacher" down through the "sempai's" or "assistants" in the black belt ranks, and then finally through the "kyu" or coloured belt ranks, known as "kohai" it is the responsibility of each student to make sure that those who follow in their foot steps, do so with the highest possible level of personal behaviour.

We have been teaching in the area for over thirty years and have a long association with teaching karate in Bury and Radcliffe. All our instructors are FEKO certificated black belt instructors and our Chief Instructor, Sensei Stewart Procter is both FEKO and City & Guilds certificated Coach Assessor at N.V.Q. FEKO is one of the largest groups in Britain with 17000 registered members in 73 Associations.
