Unlike conventional domestic lifts, our home lifts do not use hydraulics and are powered by an intelligent electric motor that plugs straight into a normal 13-amp power socket like any other household appliance. We arranged 3 quotes from different companies and not only was this company very competitive but the sales person turned up on time, was polite and listened to my parents requirements. He left us with brochures to peruse and there was no hard selling and no decisions to be made there and then.
The best idea they have is not having to traipse to a showroom or store but to be allowed to actually visit a previous customer who has a lift installed. This is at a convenient time to both parties and no-one from the company, so you are able to chat freely and find out how happy they are with their lift and the service.
The lift was fitted some months ago - in an office room to the side of the stairs so that most visitors don't even see it and mum is now much more mobile around the house. It is smaller than most of the other home lifts out there and works from the plug socket nearby. The extras like a flip down seat, light, carpet, rails and door were included in the price.
Piece of mind for the rest of us as we know she now won't fall down the stairs.

Stiltz is a fabulous company. Everyone who made having a lift possible for us, were kind and very helpful. The guys who did the woodwork were top notch, the engineers who fitted it were great and the guy who came to patch up little scratches on the wall was brilliant. The communication from Stiltz was excellent letting us know progress every step of the way from measuring, planning and installing.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a home lift from price to workmanship.

Our Stiltz Duo lift experience has been first class. Everyone involved from the initial salesman to the surveyor and installers were a joy to work with and very professional. The office staff who liaised with me during the process were very courteous and knowledgeable. We now have an alternative solution to our tricky stairs which should go a long way to future proofing our home.

I've recently had a Stiltz lift installed. The company is excellent, as is the lift and the installation team who are polite, hard working and clean up after themselves. The lift is electric, quiet with lots of safety features. I've recommended it to my friends

the guys who came to fit the lift were a great set and we couldn't have wished for better--- and when they actually got around to doing the job they stuck at it to finish in quick time---which helped me no end it was a very emotional thing being able to get upstairs in my own home after many months and setbacks. WELL DONE STILTZ.
