Richard Beale comes from a farming family. He worked in the Supermarket Industry for twenty-five years becoming Director of Fresh Foods, Produce and Meat. He founded a pedigree herd of Limousin cattle in 1974 with a number of breeding successes including Maudleyn Nandi who was the 1st Limousin to go on the MLC Limousin Young Bull Proving Scheme and Maudleyn Scoobiedoo purchased by the Milk Marketing Board and widely used in AI in the UK. He is a past chairman of the British Limousin Cattle Society and has held several posts in industry affairs e.g. ALE, MLC and NBA.
