The University is led by its Vice-Chancellor, Professor Christine King. Overall management of the University is the responsibility of the University Executive Team, which comprises the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, University Secretary, Finance Director, Director of Human Resources and Executive Pro Vice-Chancellor. The University has a Board of Governors, the responsibilities of which are set out in the Instrument of Government. In summary, the Board is responsible for overseeing the strategic development of the University and for the effective and efficient use of resources.
