St Patrick's RC Comprehensive School

The log from Day 1 (September eighth 1964) St Patricks New Secondary Modern Opened today with team of eleven - one ahead of official complement. Classrooms and library are being used but bottom floor - including Science and Biology area is still incomplete. Canteen serves as a needlework room, and hall (which will not be available for a few weeks) as a gym. Furniture has arrived but much equipment and stock still to come. Fr Breen Present
