The practice has a long history, beginning at Park Road in 1894, then moving to St. John's site in 1982 and to Spring Hall Lane in 1999. The new building gives easy access for prams and wheelchairs. There is a spacious car park with access from Gibraltar Road. The waiting room includes a play area for kids (we ask parents to supervise) and has toilet facilities suitable for disabled patients. We have a baby changing room - please enquire at reception.

There is an advice and weight clinic held by health visitors at the Jubilee Centre each Friday between 09:30 and 11:00 and at St John's Health Centre on a Tuesday from 13:00- 15:00. We offer an extensive range of contraceptive services, including contraceptive pills, injections, intrauterine devices (coils) and patches. We are keen to promote the health and wellbeing of our patients by offering regular health check-ups and advice on a variety of health matters.

You may be asked for your current passport and other documentation. If you are not sure if you are eligible for NHS care, or are unsure if you live within the practice area, please ask the receptionist. All patients now have a named GP (the one you are registered with) who is responsible for your overall care at the practice.
