Shimeijurasan Martial Arts Club is young newly founded club in centre of Sheffield. We're a friendly tiny club open to people of all ages and skills, from total beginners through experienced martial artists to a entire family. We teach Karate as a martial art or Budo -the martial way- in other words, as a way of life. Technically speaking, JKA Karate is a refined form of Shotokan Karate, the Karate perfected by Supreme Master Funakoshi, in a bigger, deeper sense it is Bushido, it is Karate located on the way and molded by the spirit of the ancient Japanese samurai warrior, it is a way of life based on Bushido.
