Seafish UK was established in 1922 in the Shetland Isles off the N coast of Scotland. Originally an offshore fishing and wholesale operation, the firm expanded into the frozen fish market in the 1960s, providing convenient and affordable seafood products under our Sheltie brand. With expansion came success and it became apparent that bigger premises were needed and during the early 1980s the firm relocated to Hull - a city justly proud of its fishing history. Seafish UK continued to expand through the 1990s with the development of value-added products for the UK and export markets, necessitating a move to a bigger site in Hull with additional cold storage capacity. In 2004 the firm changed its name to Seafish UK ltd.
