Thomas Wilkinson, grandfather of current Partner Paul Wilkinson, opened his first practice in 1919. In 1950 Tom Scott joined Harry Cross and in 1952 Donald Wilkinson joined his father's practice, then 16 years later Scott & Wilkinson was formed. For 50 years we are proud to have been looking after a wide range of clients, both business and personal, and hope to do so for the next.

The firm's origins date back to 1918, although it was not until 1968, when two local firms merged, that we became Scott & Wilkinson. This new firm was originally situated on upper Church Street, Lancaster but by 1995 the firm had outgrown these offices and decided to move to its present, and more spacious, location at Dalton Square Lancaster. Following a number of changes in the corporate landscape, the firm actively decided to become a Limited Liability Partnership in 2010.
