Scott Findlay Plumbing came highly recommended by a friend who is a retired gas engineer. I found them very professional and easy to deal with. The on site inspection man and the fitting engineer were very respectful and helpful. Claire was exceptionally helpful. I would recommend this company to everyone looking for quality products and great service.

Scott Findlay just completed a boiler replacement for us. It was all done very professionally and the engineers did a fantastic job, particularly in terms of how they cared for our property. It was all done on time and to plan, and the final product works very well. They left the boiler room in an impeccable state and it hard to tell that a full replacement has been carried out. I would recommend Scott Findlay without hesitation.

This is my second time having an annual boiler service, gas safety certificate and PAT testing performed by Scott Findlay. The reason I returned to them was the clear, prompt and no fuss communication and ease of booking an appointment that's hard to find elsewhere. Cameron turned up on time and was professional and able to answer any questions as well as competently completing the job. Great to see they do apprentice training as well. I'll be returning to them next year.

We cannot praise Scott Findlay enough! We have had various bits of work done recently - an honest quote, a radiator fitted, a flood dealt with and also a flood in the old man's house above dealt with. Various plumbers have visited and everyone was courteous and professional. The old man's flood was bad on many levels and they got stuck in and fixed it. Our boiler care etc will be with them from now and we have already sang their praises to. neighbours and friends.

After some terrible years tolerating another service because I thought it could be the industry norm, I tried out Scott Findlay Heating and Engineering and I was rewarded for my choice. It was easy to set up an appointment (even using email). The engineer arrived on time and was courteous and professional-- entirely efficient and easy going. I'll definitely return to them for the next boiler service.

Scott Findlay came out and repaired a faulty bath drain within a couple of days of me contacting them. They managed in difficult circumstances to effect the repair without having to move a W.C. Professional and speedy service with great email communication throughout. They also serviced our gas combi boiler this year, highly recommend this outfit.

Scott Findlay Plumbing & Heating Ltd changed our boiler, fitted three new radiators, changed a couple of thermostatic radiator valves and fitted a new app controlled wireless Smart Thermostat. Mark was here for two days, Simon one day and an electrician popped in to do some work too. The workmanship was absolutely first class. They were extremely tidy and treated our home and existing fittings / finishings with complete care and respect.

The way they communicated with us, each other and colleagues who phoned them to discuss other jobs was really professional and demonstrated vast experience. It is a wonderful thing to see great tradespeople at work. Could not be happier with the job and have no hesitation recommending them.

Scott Findlay Ltd removed our old boiler and replaced it with a new Worcester Bosch boiler last week. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the engineer (Simon) who fitted the boiler, and other members of the company we dealt with to arrange the boiler replacement. From first contact with the company to the last (they checked to see how it was working after installation) their performance was flawless. We would highly recommend Scott Findlay Ltd to others.

Installing a new condensing Combi Boiler to replace our old one. Excellent service throughout from the Scott Findlay team, always happy to answer questions & very knowledgable. Installation itself was carried out to a high standard & faster than scheduled (hot water available again the same day).Great attention to detail during the initial survey - measuring hot water flow rates from various taps & distance of gas pipes to the boiler - in order to then assess the most suitable sized boiler for the gas supply.

We had a new boiler fitted when we moved into our new house and then some radiators installed later on. From start to finish every member of the team we spoke to and dealt with was incredibly helpful, profesional and to the point. A small problem with the installed condensate pump was sorted extremely quickly once identified. A lot of very helpful advice was given and the work carried out was really well done - the rationalised new pipework coming out of the boiler is a thing of beauty! We would highly recommend Scott Findlay.

David Patterson is one of the best (and tidiest!) tradesman I have ever had in my flat. He worked really hard 8am-5ish. Replaced my old boiler with a new one and took time to check I knew how to work it. One of the existing condensate pipes blocked the next day and Kevin Calder came quickly and cleared it. It is a huge investment replacing a boiler- I had been offered a cheaper quote for the same boiler elsewhere, but I trust their professionalism and expertise, and the fact that they will quickly sort it if it's not right.

We are really happy with the service that Scott Findlay provided. The whole process from beginning to end was really good, couldn't have asked for better. Their engineers were knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and professional. The engineer did a great job of neatly installing the boiler and was very helpful in providing some general information about the heating system. We are very happy with the new boiler and everything appears to be working well. We would definitely use Scott Findlay again and recommend them to anyone who asks.

After returning from my holidays i soon noticed that my boiler was not working. When i went to investigate further i spotted water leaking from the bottom of my boiler. Not good. I called up my boiler insurance company and the boiler was written off due to the cost of repair. The insurance company offered to provide a quote for a replacement, but in the mean time i went to Scott Findlay's as i have used them many times in the past. Claire was so understanding of the situation and went out of her way to get someone here as fast as possible to check out the current system to quote for a new one (on the same day).

When they were here to check the current set up, Simon (i think that was his name) also managed to show me how to fix my immersion heater (that seemed to blow on the same day). By the next morning i had the quote, and promise that they could start the work on the Monday (it was a Friday that i agreed on the quote) As promised i was left with a working system by the end of the Monday with a return visit in the books to check everything was still working later on that week.

Everything was complete and working before the Insurance company even managed to get me their quote for a replacement, which was 150 pounds more (for the exact same boiler) than Scott Findlay. I can't rate these guys enough. We are in different times at the moment with this pandemic going on, but all of the guy who were in my house all understood and followed brilliant procedures. Kept there distance, isolated them self in the utility room with the door closed, wore gloved the whole time and just got on with the job. Thanks guys.

Scott Findlay have been servicing and repairing our central heating for a number of years. Recently we have required a new boiler which was installed quickly, efficiently and with no mess.
