About Us
read moreThe Science and Society Picture Library represent the visual content of the Science Museum Group. We are based in the Science Museum. As a child I was obsessed with a Jonathan Cape book we had about 19th century Russia. It was fully illustrated and I really remember this image as it made a big impact on me. It gives an indication of what was involved ub producing a record of conflict in the 1900s. I went on to specialise in war studies at University, specifically in Russian History and that book still has a place on my shleves.
