All windows manufactured using traditional through mortise and tenon construction, with weight and pulley counter-balance system as standard. We manufacture our own high-spec double glazed units in-house, with unique warm-edge spacer bar and krypton gas filled as standard.

read moreWe provide extensive refurbishment services, upgrading the thermal and acoustic performance of a building through in-depth repairs, draught sealing, restoration and replacement copies of original windows where required. With the support of our joinery and glazing workshops, we are equipped to manufacture any necessary components needed to rebuild decayed and damaged windows to their original detailing. Problems commonly encountered include water ingress, decayed or painted shut components, rotting sills (particularly on south and west elevations), draughts and damaged glass.

Coming from a cabinet making background, founder and managing director, Ronnie Salisbury, was looking for a format where the skills of the cabinet maker could be applied to a product in a marketplace with the potential for growth. In response to the disturbing trend towards replacing traditional timber box sash windows with modern and inappropriate forms of fenestration, he decided to focus on creating a positive alternative that delivered the thermal and acoustic upgrades required, without damaging the character of the period building.

Designs are based on practicalities for construction, historical detail, visual proportion and structural requirements. We assist architects and developers with planning proposals on projects where the detailing is demanding and specific.
