Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is one of the biggest, most diverse suppliers of social services within the UK after the Government. Established in 1865 in London's East End; the Salvation Army now operates in over 111 countries through the world. As a church and registered charity, we demonstrate our Christian principles through practical aid, putting our beliefs into action. The Salvation Army has more than 750 Salvation Army churches in the UK, these are known as Corps. These are primarily worship centres that play an active part in the local community.
