SALTO is UK Registered Charity. We operate on a not-for-profit basis. This means that funds received are used entirely for the benefit of the club and its members. Our charitable status provides certain important benefits too, in relation to VAT and Gift Aid.

read moreSALTO has a range of Gymnastics clothing available. We are very conscious of the cost to parents and so we have negotiated the lowest possible price from the manufacturer. We also do not change the style every year to also help spread the cost (but we cant stop the gymnasts growing!). If gymnasts are competing for SALTO, they will be required to compete in the current club kit. In some cases, it may be necessary to also have a second kit but the Gymnast's coach will advise if this will be necessary.

read moreRegrettably, such is the popularity of Gymnastics, generally and SALTO, in particular, that there are waiting lists for most disciplines to join as new members, These are constantly monitored and as spaces become available or new classes are added, we contact all those waiting in strict order based on the time waiting and any specific requirements set out when first registering on the list. If your circumstances change, we encourage you to email us so that the records may be updated. We do understand how frustrating it is to have to wait for a place and we do all in our power to keep the waiting time to a minimum.

read morePre-school Gymnastics is the grass roots of gymnastics. It is the BEST place to lay the foundation for your child's physical development in a fun, exciting and safe environment. Pre-school focuses on enhancing your child's gross motor skills and introduces the first exciting stages of gymnastics. The classes are noncompetitive and are aimed at children aged 3-5. By regularly attending their class children will enhance their balance, co-ordination, strength and stamina by using our specialised pre-school designed equipment and aids.

read moreThis is a list of our current group of dedicated and enthusiastic coaches. Some may have qualifications in several gymnastics disciplines and others may be specialised in one area of interest or they may be at the start of their coaching career and be members of our Young Leaders Programme. The Club is committed to the continuous professional development of its coaching team. It provides funding for appropriate coach qualification courses and provides mentoring from more senior coaches to ensure coaches meet the required standards to gain their next coaching qualification.
