read moreSale Cricket Club was established in 1854 and has a long history in Lancashire and Cheshire Cricket, from winning the inaugural Manchester & District Stockton Trophy in 1920 through to competing successfully in the Cheshire Pyramid in recent seasons. In 2018 we retained the the prestigious Clubmark award, held since 2005, ensuring our club is "safe and child friendly" and has an open membership policy. During the season, junior training is held on Monday evenings from mid-April until the end of July.

If you must drive then try and car-share if possible. This is particularly important certain peak times, e.g. It is a great opportunity to get back on the court no matter how many years ago it was since you last played Netball (or maybe you have never played before.). Walking Netball has been designed so that anyone can play, irrespective of age (16+), size and ability!

read moreUnder 15s practice on Wednesday evenings from 6pm, alongside our senior teams, starting on 17 April and continuing throughout the season. Sale CC has a team of volunteer junior coaches with ECB Level 2 and ECB Coach Assistant qualifications and can draw on the expertise of Sale Sports Club's Coaching and Development Officer, Mike Sambell, as well as coaches from the Cheshire Cricket Board. The full junior membership fee for 2019 is 95, covering all matches, training, club shirt and Sale Sports Club membership.

Sale Sports Club is a great place to meet up with their friends in a safe environment. They can relax and watch and tennis, football, cricket, hockey and other sports, and join in social events. Membership subscriptions for juniors are very competitive, and parents can also join at reduced rates to use the courts with their children. Our coaching team offers a full programme of courses and competitive opportunities for junior members, and we run very popular sports camps during the major school holidays.

Though our networks of committed volunteer coaches we offer coaching and competitive opportunities in all sports, and positively encourage children to try all the sports on offer. Delivered by one of our qualified coaches at one of the best facilities in the area, we offer high quality cricket coaching and an opportunity to play for one of our 8 junior cricket teams from Under 9 to Under 18, including a girls team. Coaching takes place Monday evenings at the club from April to August, 6pm to 8pm (6pm to 7.30pm for Under 9s).

read moreSale Hockey Club was founded in 1888, and to this day has a growing and thriving hockey section encompassing both Men's and Ladies teams. Our junior programme is going from strength to strength and we welcome those wishing to take part in it to contact us. We also have a great social ethos and enjoy welcoming new members to our sections with drinks at the clubhouse. The Ladies 1st team plays in North Hockey Division 2 South West, retaining their place following promotion in the 2015 / 2016 season.
