What to expect during your first
read moreWhilst social distancing and PPE measures are still in place, we have had to make some changes to the procedures within clinic. Your New Patient Consultation will take place in 2 sessions. There is an all-in fee for this, which is due up-front. Once you've made your New Patient appointment, you will be sent a link to your Intake Form - please fill this out as fully as possible. The first session is the "Question and Answer" session, which is done virtually over the video conferencing platform "Zoom".

read moreNewborn checks (up to 3 months) are available free of charge if the mother attended the clinic for regular antenatal care. Payment is required prior to or at the time of services rendered. We do not allow accounts to accrue. We accept payment by personal credit and debit cards (except American Express) cash. Receipts for treatment fees are issued upon request. Payment is due on the day of the visit. We are unable to accept payment via business debit or credit cards. S1 Chiropractic is registered with most health insurance companies and cash health plans such as Westfield, Simply Health (formerly known as HSA), WPA, Aviva (formerly known as Norwich Union) and Standard Life.
Treatment for sciatica

The clinic features a leather-upholstered hydraulic adjusting table to give you the most comfortable patient experience possible. There is a changing screen for those who are required or indeed prefer to get changed for their treatments. Patient gowns are provided on each visit for female patients to wear. We also have specialist pregnancy cushions that enable expectant mothers to comfortably receive treatment when lying down on their front without the possibility of squashing their baby.

She worked in clinics in Harrogate, Doncaster and Retford and as a locum in York before becoming the proprietor of S1 Chiropractic in October 2006, where she continues to provide quality chiropractic healthcare to the residents and workers within and around the Sheffield city centre (S1) area. With over 17 years of clinical practice behind her, Libby offers knowledge and experience in the treatment and management of a wide variety of neuromusculoskeletal problems.
