S&S Furniture manufacture and fit quality Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms at their factory in Silverdale, Staffordshire. The firm was established in 1979 by Trevor Shepherd and Brian Sims, engineering colleagues at Rists Wires and Cables. They began working from home, taking advantage of the market for suited bedrooms. As the business grew, they purchased the present premises in Silverdale, which has now become the showroom. When the demand for the production of Kitchens and Bedrooms grew, the 6500 sq ft factory unit in Stonewall Place was purchased.
