The PGA will be providing golf professionals from across the County to support each team whilst playing for their own prizes.

read moreRomsey Golf Club is conveniently situated on the outskirts of Southampton with easy access to the M27 and M3 motorways. Where the M3 joins the M27 follow the signs heading west. Leave the M27 at Junction 3 and at the top of the slip road follow the roundabout around to the right towards Romsey. After mile turn right at the first roundabout towards Nursling. The entrance to Romsey Golf Club is situated 350 yards along that road on your left hand side.

Nestling at the south eastern edge of Broadlands Estate, on beautifully mature wooded parkland blessed with undulating contours, the course meanders through the trees, with its own version of Amen Corner on the front nine, three holes that will provide a challenge for any golfer. For although the course is less than 6000 yards, the narrow wooded fairways, doglegs and strategically placed bunkers make it an examination of accuracy rather than length.

read moreStanding on the first tee, ready to start your round, it is easy to be lulled into thinking you are in for a comfortable round, a gentle par 4 to set you off, but you had better be straight, for this hole has been the scene of many ruined cards, as well as eagles and birdies. The second makes you aware that there are tougher times ahead, an uphill par 4 bordered by an avenue of conifers. The fourth hole brings you to the first real changes in elevation, a drive over the hill down to the fairway, and a second up to an enclosed green.
