Roles Broderick Roofing
Roofing Contractor in Woking, Surrey
By far the biggest proportion of our service is described as traditional or fully supported metal roofing and cladding. The metal is applied to a deck such as 18mm ply, a composite panel or a build-up comprising the necessary components to reach a warm roof which can, and often does, form part or our package. Standing seam joints at centres between 500mm and 600mm (depending on metal type and finish) are the standard joint detail although batten rolls are an option for roof pitches between 3 and 5, and where a more visible joint is required.

Services
read moreAll metals used for traditional hard metal roofing will be between a gauge of 0.5mm and 0.7mm thick from coil material. This allows us to hand form the metal to irregular shapes, curves and profiles. A typical standard tray will comprise a 25mm high standing seam joint at a range of seam centres from 600mm down to 185mm dependant on design and local environmental factors. We can offer a batten roll joint detail on lower pitched roofs down to a three degree slope. The type and finish of metal used will be entirely dependant on the client or architect's design criteria but we are happy to provide guidance on the best or most appropriate finish and detailing.
