At Bambinos we are committed to providing a 'Home from Home', where our professional staff work in partnership with parents to provide a safe, stimulating, nurturing environment for children to explore.

read moreOur nursery was opened in 1966 by Marie Doyle after recognising the need for quality childcare in this area, and was one of the first nurseries in Liverpool. Bambinos is managed by Marie's granddaughter Kirsty Cooke who is a qualified Early Years Teacher. We provide a healthy, well balanced diet for our children, which is prepared on site by our chef Julie. All dietary requirements can be catered for. Our kitchen was recently awarded a 5* rating for hygiene and food preparation by the local authority.

read moreWe are very proud of our long standing staff team, some of them has been with us for over 30 years, who provide a stable environment for children. Staff qualifications range from NVQ level 3, several member of staff with a degree in an early years practice to our Manager who is a qualified early years teacher. Most staff have Pediatric First Aid and all staff are DBS checked. We all attend various training courses provided by the Knowsley Early Years Team to keep up to date with the latest in childcare developments, alongside our in-house training.

read moreIf your child does not attend a school nursery, they are entitled to 15 or 30 hours per week at Bambinos - no charge - from the term after they are 3 years old, until they start school.

read moreBambinos is a purpose built nursery with 5 spacious rooms, and a large garden. We care for children from birth in our new self-contained Baby Room, 2-3 years in our Toddler Room, our Pre-School Room caters for children from 3-5 and our after school/holiday club have their own room for activities. Each room provides a stimulating environment for children to learn through play. Our outdoor area enables children to explore the world around them, with plenty of space for children to enhance their physical development, to ride bikes and play on the swings, on our gardens safety flooring, as well as enjoying story sessions and digging and planting in our woodland area or getting messy in our mud kitchen!
