read moreBill Robertson was just 21 when he set up his joinery business, but within three years he'd built and sold his first house. In 1975 the business took on its first design-and-build contract, and the following year Robertson of Elgin became a limited company. Since then the Robertson family has acquired new members, buying up small specialist companies and launching new divisions in facilities management and civil engineering. We gradually expanded our territory throughout Scotland, and in 1999 we completed our first project in England.
