The Riverford box scheme began when Guy Watson began providing vegetables locally to 30 friends in Devon. We now deliver around 47, 000 boxes a week to homes around the UK from our regional sister farms. Each farm is part of a local grower group who work together to fill the boxes each week. We compare our vegbox prices with the leading supermarkets. Overall our vegboxes are around 20% cheaper. Friendly and helpful
I've had my first two deliveries and I'm loving the variety. I had a large veg box last week and ate asparagus for the first time, roasted it and loved it. This week I've had the salad box, fruit bag and natural yogurt. The fruit is so much nicer than what I normally buy. And the delivery guys are so friendly and helpful. Value for Money

Superb vegetables
Superb vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, dairy produce and bread! Everything you could possibly need and it's all organic! Have been using Riverford for a number of years now and can't fault them. Great choice of produce and so environmentally conscious, from compostable bags to reusable boxes and packaging. Not only does everything taste so good but it's all sourced responsibly and there is no waste. I can't remember the last time I shopped for vegetables and fruit at a supermarket and the only meat consumed has to be through Riverford because it's high animal welfare and organic. Oh, and the recipe boxes are brilliant. Delighted! Value for Money

read moreYou don't need to be at home. In fact, more than 70% of customers are out when we deliver. Deliveries are made by your local vegman/lady (not a courier), who works on a 'round' basis on a set day to maximise efficiency and reduce food miles. However, if you have a regular order you'll notice that delivery is often at a similar time each week - traffic and weather permitting. You can choose to have a delivery on whichever weeks suit you. To change your order you just need to let us know two days before delivery.

read moreWe have worked hard through the pandemic to keep our co-owners safe and able to pick, pack and deliver to customers. This week with more co-owners needing to self-isolate we have had fewer people available to pack a lot of boxes. As a result, we have decided to temporarily simplify our range, just until the affected co-owners can safely return to work. All items are still temporarily off sale, so you can't add anything new to your order, including the items above. If you have an order set up containing these items (and meeting the minimum spend), they are secure and will be delivered, but other items will have been removed from your order.
