The Ridgeway Group's story has been one of continual growth and expansion and is now ranked as the 26th Largest Motor Retail Group in the UK by the Automotive Magazine [November 2007]The business was 1st set up in 1997 with two Volkswagen and one Audi retailer, Volkswagen and Audi in Newbury and a Volkswagen outlet in Wantage, Oxfordshire. In 1999 another exciting brand and franchise was added to Ridgeway's portfolio when Jewson Skoda [Oxford] was purchased. This was followed two years later with the addition of Volkswagen retailer Ridgeway Reading in November 2001.
