Our group is affiliated to The National Association for Patient Participation which issues periodic bulletins and newsletters. These can be accessed at www.napp.org.uk. Patient Record
read moreInformation about your health and care helps the NHS to improve your individual care, speed up diagnosis, plan your local services, and research new treatments. We would like to share your information with local health and care organisations so they can provide you with better services. We would also like to share this data with Public Health, Clinical Commissioning Groups, and other government agencies so that we can better plan care for the whole population. You can choose not to have information about you shared or used for any purpose beyond providing your own treatment or care.
Opening Hours
read moreWhen the practice is closed (Monday to Friday from between 18:30 and 08:00 and all day at weekends and Bank Holidays) please ring NHS 111. This is a freephone number which gives you access to the Lincolnshire Clinical Assessment Service (CAS). You will be spoken to by a specialist nurse or doctor who will give you advice or arrange for you to be seen at the Urgent Treatment Centre at Lincoln County Hospital (adjacent to A&E). You should ring this number if you need urgent medical help or advice but it's not a life-threatening situation and cannot wait until the next day to be treated.
Appointments
read moreIt may not be necessary for you to attend for an appointment. You can submit details about your condition or your administration request and you will receive a response from the practice usually within 24 hours but you will be advised of the timeframe once you have submitted the online form. The practice operates an appointment system and offers pre-bookable appointments up to 2 weeks in advance with the clinician of your choice. You can book these appointments by contacting Reception after 08:00 or by booking online (ask at reception for details of how to book appointments online).
Prescriptions
read moreIt takes 48 hours for us to prepare your prescriptions so please make sure you order your prescriptions in plenty of time. If you are on regular medications which do not change very often your doctor can issue several prescriptions in advance to be held and distributed when you need them by your chosen pharmacy. This is only appropriate for patients on four or less repeat medications per month. If you feel this scheme could be of benefit to you please contact Reception. For most patients we can send your prescription to your nominated pharmacy so that you do not have to come to the surgery to collect it.
