Set up in 1983 by 2 families, Ray and Janet Webster and Frank and June Hanwell (Ray and Frank hence R & F) We 1st began in manufacturing shoes ourselves after many years working for a huge shoe manufacturing firm. Shoe manufacturing in the UK dwindled dramatically in the late 80's and the early 90's and in 1997 we switched to retailing shoes from our factory shop in Northampton. Since then we've grown speedily and we now have 6 outlets throughout the country.
