In 1885, five years after the incorporation of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, two of its founder members, George Poppleton and Charles Appleby joined together to form an accountancy practice specialising in insolvency. Over the ensuing 100 years and more, our proficiency in the specialist insolvency field associated with a sensitive, customer-focussed approach has helped us to be one of the UK's biggest independent insolvency practitioners. We're situated in Central Manchester, with affiliation to other insolvency offices across the country and a complete network of agents across the UK.
