A dedicated group of volunteers were trained for over a year in all kinds of Credit Union management and finally in November 1993, Pollok Credit Union was registered as a Credit Union under the Credit union Act 1979. We opened our 1st collection point at the Pollok Community Centre on November eighth 1993. A note of thanks is due to the 1st officers of the Credit Union, who, through their vision, enthusiasm and commitment strived to deliver the benefits of a credit union to the residents of the Greater Poliok area.
