The founder & owner of Penhazy Dog Retreat, Sally Penn is a true dog lover. As well as breeding her own family of beautiful weimaraners she has many years of home boarding, day care & dog walking experience. Sally wanted to create a safe, fun and loving environment as an alternative to traditional kennels. When you need to travel, leave town or simply want your dog to be in good company while you are at work you can leave your best friend with us.

read moreOur Doggy Day Care is supervised interactional play. Its there for dog owners who have a busy lifestyle and do not want their dog to remain home alone. Doggy Day Care works in much the same way as a childminder or nursery. You can bring your dog to us and we will look after them while you are at work or out for the day. Day care is an interactive environment with dogs running and playing together. Dogs are grouped separately according to size and temperament in one of our large paddocks. All dogs are supervised by our trained staff.

read more2. Appointments will be staggered at 15 minute intervals to ensure only one member of the public is on Penhazy premises. All our sessions are on a 'one to one' basis. Dogs are not queued up nor do we use crates at any time. Dogs are given comfort breaks and can relax in one of our paddocks to help with what for some can be a stressful experience.
