Free Swimming for people aged 60 and Overs and Under 18. As part of the government's initiative to get more people active and healthy free swimming commences on the first April 2009 - for a period of 2 years. Being physically active is a main importance to maintain and improve health. All adults are recommended to carry out at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity a day. Oldham Community Leisure have a complete programme of activities for the over 50's and we're still expanding, we strive to improve health and well being whilst having fun and meeting new friends.
