For travel vaccinations you will need to allow for sufficient time, before your intended date of departure. You will be required to book two Nurse appointments. Please speak to one our receptionists for full information so that you can receive the vaccinations you need in good time, to enjoy your holiday.

read moreYou may be allowed to have some treatments on repeat prescription without seeing the doctor. Once processed your medication request will be despatched electronically to your nominated Pharmacy preventing the need for you to attend the Surgery. Please allow 48-36 hours before collecting from your nominated Pharmacy. Please be aware that medication which may be bought over the counter is not prescribed by a Clinician. Please see the Self-Care Guide or speak to a Pharmacist if you need advice. Repeat prescriptions can only be issued if they have been authorised by the doctor.

There are times when you may be receiving care from other organisations like the Social Services and it is sometimes necessary to share information about you so that we can all work together for your benefit. We will only ever pass on information that is relevant to the issue and only to those involved in your care. We will not pass your information on to third parties without your permission unless there are exceptional circumstances such as when the health and safety of others is at risk or where the law requires that information be disclosed.

read moreAll diabetic patients are encouraged to attend our clinic regularly for a check by the doctor and practice nurse. Please book your appointments via the receptionist. At the moment all reviews are carried out as a telephone consultation you only need to attend for the pre-check. We recommend that cervical smears are carried out every three or five years, depending on age, ladies are automatically invited to attend our clinic when their smear is due. A lady invited to have a smear may make an appointment with the nurse, or their doctor if they prefer.
