read moreMy name is Nina Cole and I am the founder of Nina's Nannies for Pets, which I formed in 1998, following my husband's diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and I then suffering a brain haemorrhage just six months later! I live with my husband Doug, our three rescue cats, Edna, George and Harricat, along with our little Cockapoo Ellie who we rescued last November from Many Tears in Wales. Together we are one very happy family. I have always been passionate about animals and their welfare and my childhood was spent caring for a menagerie of pets, including rabbits, hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, cats and dogs.

Trish Bloomfield is based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire and is a retired nurse. Trish regularly cares for a menagerie of pets and is adept at caring for puppies and pets with special requirements. Some may say a little ‘hen-pecked', but since chickens are now a popular sight in clients gardens, hence it is not unusual to care for them. She often ventures across the border to Dorset and since a few of her clients have now relocated, she often leaves her country life in Hampshire, for the bright lights of London!

read moreWorking in London can be a challenge for our pet and dog sitters, due to parking restrictions, hence Nannies usually travel by public transport. When using their cars however, we do request clients to arrange parking permits to save people being ticketed. We have clients throughout the London area and Richmond Park is always a great favorite for our dog sitting team due to its beautiful dog walks. Due to health and safety reasons, we prefer that dogs remain leashed. A high proportion of our London clients favour smaller dogs such as Chihuahuas and Pugs and since Dognappers are striking on average every five hours, keeping dogs leashed and therefore under control, reduces the risk of this happening.
