Nick went on to operate a 2nd firm, GTS Transport, located in Scarborough, which specialised in light haulage and part loads. 1995 saw the sale of GTS, and the ownership of Global Express being passed to a relative, when Nick was provided a senior Transport Management position within the Tibbett & Britten Group plc, which at the time was one of the largest transport businesses through the world. Nick then went on to manage a family run firm with a huge fleet of mixed trucks and cranes specialising in abnormal loads, low loaders, and other specialist services.
