The National Portage Association was set up in 1983 to provide support and information to parents and specialists involved in Portage and has been at the forefront of developments in support to young kids and their families since then. The Association became a charitable firm in 2001 with a Board of Trustees, elected from amongst the members to manage its business, monitor standards of training and service delivery and oversee research and developments.

Great experience!
As a former portage worker I recommend the NPA becausea) they have thorough and relevant training for practitioners
b) portage is a positive programme which enables children and families to move forward in life.
