She is also a member of the PCC and took over the role of the PCC Secretary in 2017 (Parish Church Council) at St Anne's Church, Lydgate. One of the other volunteering roles associated with St Anne's Church is that Sue is the advertising manager for the bi-monthly Grapevine Magazine, which is full of interesting information about the Saddleworth Churches and advertisements for local businesses.
Pop In & Wait Service
read moreOur Pop In & Wait Service allows clients to have their work done whilst they wait, and enjoy a cup of tea and a flick through a magazine or newspaper whilst they are waiting. This service is a really personal and unique service to N W Secretarial & PA Service. Generally these clients have enquired at local libraries asking where they can have some letters typed or have used our service before. The benefits of this are that there is no minimum time/spend with us and our clients are charged upon completition.
Typing Service
read moreI recently asked Sue to create a spreadsheet (price calculator) so that I could quickly and easily calculate the prices for my jewellery. We also offer a service for local people who would like to wait whilst their typing is typed up, this obviously depends on the length of the document. We have clients that come to us using public transport so this 'type while you wait' service offers the perfect solution. Usually the kind of things that we type up whilst you wait are letters or documents taking up to an hour.
Digital Transcribing
read moreI recently asked Sue to create a spreadsheet (price calculator) so that I could quickly and easily calculate the prices for my jewellery. The beauty of digital transcribing is that you can be anywhere in the world so long as you have access to a computer. Some mobile phones have recording facilities on them so that you can dictate and email the voice file from them to us and we can convert them into a compatible voice file to use with our software. The digital audio file is received, we listen to it, type it up and email the finished documents back to you for you to print out or if preferred we can send them direct to the recipient on your behalf.
Audio Typing
read moreThe work is recorded onto a hand held dictaphone (there are many makes of these, including Olympus and Philips) audio tapes. These are then listened to via our audio dictation machines and typed up on our computers. The finished documents can then be sent via email for you to print out or we can print them out and send them to you or alternatively we can send them direct to the recipient on your behalf. We use mini audio tapes and micro audio tapes on our Olympus Pearlcorder transcriber machine.
