Myers

The business has a long-standing history and has always been are a family run and run. It was established over 300 years ago in 1701 when the Myers family were Undertakers, Joiners and wheelwrights. I. W. Myers Funeral Directors have always been in Wheldrake, and is reputed to be the oldest created family funeral manager in Britain. The company is now owned and run by James W Myers, James joined the company in 1999 and has now continued in the Myers tradition after his late Grandfather Mr Ian William Myers passed away in February 2005.
