read moreThese days it seems like everyone's got the illustration bug, it's everywhere you look. Hooray! I love illustration, always have, it's probably the child in me that refuses to grow up but I've always surrounded myself with fun and quirky things. Being able to 'draw upon' (see what I did there) these influences and use them in my work is, quite frankly, awesome. My preferred 'media' is, unsurprisingly, electronic. Having spent I dread to think how many hours a week in front of my mac, it's a tool I'm at home using.

read moreOne of the things that initially drew me to design and still keeps me enthusiastic is the scope of what you can do. I have tried my hand at most creative specialities over the years and enjoyed aspects of all of them. I always think of design as the 'melting pot' that brings everything together. Being the cook you can decide on what ingredients are needed and how they work together in order to get to an end result that satisfies the taste of your customer. At the end of the day everybody's tastes are different and no piece of design will ever please an entire audience.
