MJM are delighted to be working with Interserve on a multi-million pound project at Roundhay School in Leeds. The project provides them with a brand new school building incorporating a large multi-use drama and lecture theatre.

read moreOver the past 35 years we have worked on many refurbishment projects and our ethos on these sites is to approach the existing building as a resource rather than a problem and to re-use as much of the available materials as we possibly can. Our aim is to provide structural solutions that are either hidden or totally in keeping with the period of the property ensuring that the historical and evidential value of the building can be retained for future generations to enjoy. At the same time, we recognise that it is often important to be honest about new additions and we will work with the architect to ensure that the final designs meet both structural and aesthetic requirements.

We have had a framework agreement with ASDA since 1997 and through this we have developed several versions of their 'model' stores. We also regularly work with many of the prominent food retail developers such as Morbaine, Trilogy, Terrace Hill and Hawkstone. We recognise that costs are critically important in this sector.

read moreOur civil and structural engineering team is currently expanding due to a sustained growth in workload. In particular, we are seeking at least 2 well rounded civil and structural engineers with experience in a variety of commercial, leisure and industrial projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidates will be near to or will have recently achieved chartered status with 3 to 5 years of design and project experience but other candidates may be considered. Knowledge of design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Microdrainage and Masterseries would also be an advantage.
