Minster Veterinary Practice

Veterinarians in York, North Yorkshire
Veterinarians in York, North Yorkshire The Minster Veterinary Practice was the final name change to our practice, which was adopted in 1997. Prior to that time, the practice name had reflected the names of the Partners in the Practice. The Practice 1st began at the turn of the Century in York and was originally situated in premises in The Crescent, York. Those premises were an adapted town house, which was quite usual for veterinary practices at the time. In 1985 the Practice was relocated to purpose built facilities at our current site in Salisbury Road.

Vaccination
read moreDogs and cats are susceptible to a range of dangerous infectious diseases. Fortunately, we can vaccinate them against some of them in order to improve their immunity. Unlike many human vaccinations, it's essential to get your pet vaccinated annually as some vaccines only last a year. If you are late then you may have to start the course again. For this reason, Minster Vets endeavour to send you vaccine booster reminders through the post, or you can sign up for text or e-mail alerts. Although important, the vaccine your pet receives is only a very small part of the health check.
